I am looking forward to sharing what is going on in our classroom on the blog. Here is a look at this weeks Newsletter. We will be writing letters to Santa during our Writer's Workshop. We are so hopeful that Santa will return our letters!
Today we read a book that was made for me by my aunt when I was a little girl. I is a personalized book, so my name is printed in the book! In the story I make a Christmas wish to go to the North Pole and it comes true!
During our Morning Meeting, the students shared a question they would like to ask Santa. They were very creative!! My question was, "Does Santa go on vacation?" More to come after we write to Santa tomorrow on our Holiday Stationary....
We have also been working on writing and spelling our holiday words. This is our running chart of words that we want to use in our writing!
